There are lots of resources available on the web for language learning.

The following are some of my favourites.

The links below are to the Amazon website.

A good dictionary is an indispensable tool for learning foreign languages.Online dictionaries are fine, but real tactile dictionaries are better.

Here are a few of the best:

Collins Spanish Dictionary 40th anniversary edition (Collins Complete and Unabridged)

Collins Robert French Dictionary (Collins Complete and Unabridged)

Collins English Dictionary

The following are the “heavy weight” grammars used at university level. For serious language learners, they are essential. They allow you to “tease out” language difficulties – much more efficiently than internet surfing.

A New Reference Grammar of Modern Spanish

A Reference Grammar of French (Reference Grammars)

Advanced Grammar in Use Book with Answers: A Self-Study Reference and Practice Book for Advanced Learners of English

Interested in Spain?

Click here for a highly recommended classic.Enjoy!

As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning (Penguin Modern Classics)
